COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED AT THE END OF IFE NORTH PDP STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING
SUNDAY, 3RD AUGUST 2025.

Osogbo, August 4, 2025.

The Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ife North Local Government met on Sunday, 3rd August 2025, to review the party's progress and chart the way forward ahead of the next electoral cycle.

At the centre of deliberations was:

(1) The unanimous endorsement of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for a second term in office. Stakeholders cited his achievements in infrastructure, workers’ welfare, and inclusive governance as clear justification for his re-election. 

In his charge to party faithful, the Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi, firmly stated that: 

(2) Governor Adeleke is not decamping to any political party. He reaffirmed the Governor's loyalty to the PDP and assured members of the Governor's readiness to surpass his current strides for the continued progress and prosperity of Osun State.

(3) The meeting also resolved to intensify ward-to-ward mobilisation for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Party leaders were directed to prioritise grassroots sensitisation to ensure that every eligible supporter secures his/her PVC ahead of the polls.

Speaking at the meeting, the Ife North PDP Chairman, Hon. Adesoye Oyewole, commended party members for their steadfastness and urged them to redouble their efforts in advancing the party. He emphasised that Ife North delivered for Governor Adeleke in 2022 and would deliver overwhelming in the coming elections.

(4) Stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to the unity and strength of the PDP. They pledged total support for Governor Adeleke and urged all members to remain active, united, and focused on ensuring another resounding victory for the party.

In attendance were stakeholders; Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi, Party Chairman, Hon. Adesoye Oyewole, Hon. Mike Akande, Chairman Ife North Local Government, the party excos/leaders, appointees, support groups, and party faithful.
