Osogbo, June 6, 2025.

‎Hon. Shokeye Muhammed Shobowale, a distinguished advocate of good governance and representative of the Irepodun/Orolu/Olorunda/Osogbo Federal Constituency, has urged Muslims across Nigeria to continue offering prayers for peace, unity, and the stability of the nation.
‎In his Eid-el-Kabir message to the nation, Hon. Shokeye called on the Muslim faithful to uphold the teachings of Islam as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW), especially in a time when Nigeria faces multiple challenges that require collective resolve and spiritual fortitude.
‎“I encourage everyone to draw inspiration from the noble example of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who demonstrated unwavering sacrifice, patience, generosity, and obedience to the will of Allah and to constituted authority,” Hon. Shokeye stated.
‎“As we mark this sacred festival, let us remember the deep spiritual lesson behind Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his only son an act of supreme obedience to God. This is a call to us all to embrace the spirit of sacrifice for the greater good of our society,” he added.
‎Hon. Shokeye further urged citizens to remain conscious of their shared identity and collective mission as Nigerians, encouraging all to draw strength from the nation's enduring spirit of unity and perseverance.
‎“Beyond the sacrifice, we must not relent in praying for peace, unity, and religious tolerance pillars that are essential to preserving the dignity and future of our great nation,” he concluded.
