Osun Deputy Speaker Celebrates Nigerian Children on 2025 Children's Day Celebration.

Osogbo, May 27, 2025.

The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi has felicitated the Nigerian Children on the occasion of this year's Children's Day Celebration.

In a message released by his head of media, Mr. Segun Amure which was made available to the public, Rt. Hon. Oyewusi said "children are the heartbeat of our communities, the light in our homes, and the leaders of tomorrow."

In his message Oyewusi wrote "Happy Children's Day to all the wonderful children in Ife North State constituency and across our beloved state. 

"Today, I celebrate your joy, resilience, imagination, and the boundless promise you bring to our future. You are the heartbeat of our communities, the light in our homes, and the leaders of tomorrow.

As Fyodor Dostoyevsky said, “The soul is healed by being with children.” Your laughter, curiosity and innocence remind us of life's truest values—compassion, hope, and the beauty of new beginnings. You inspire us daily to strive for a better, kinder world.

"This year's theme, “Stand Up, Speak Up: Building a Bullying-Free Generation,” calls us all to action. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment."
