Hon. George Alabi Felicitates Osun Children on Children's Day, Encourages Parents to Keep Investing in Their Future.

The Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Hon. George Alabi, has extended warm felicitations to all children in Osun State, applauding their resilience, creativity, and boundless potential.

In a statement released on Tuesday, May 27, Hon. Alabi described children as the pride and promise of every society, emphasizing the need for all stakeholders especially parents and guardians to remain steadfast in their commitment to nurturing and investing in the next generation.

"As we mark this special day, I salute every child in Osun State and beyond. You are the heartbeat of our future," Hon. Alabi stated.

He went further to admonish parents to prioritize the education, health, and moral upbringing of their wards, noting that a society that neglects its children is building on a weak foundation.

"I urge parents and guardians not to relent in their efforts. Every book bought, every lesson taught, every value instilled—these are priceless investments that will yield immeasurable returns in years to come. Let us be intentional about raising children who are responsible, confident, and equipped to lead," he added.

Hon. Alabi also reaffirmed the commitment of the Osun State Government to policies and initiatives that promote child welfare, education, and empowerment, while calling on communities and institutions to support efforts aimed at creating a safe, inclusive, and enabling environment for children to thrive.

He concluded by praying for continued protection and divine guidance over every child in the state, expressing optimism that with collective support, the future of Osun children will shine even brighter.
