As Nigeria marks this year’s Children’s Day celebration, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere has extended warm felicitations to children across the country, especially those in Osun State.

In a goodwill message released to commemorate the occasion, Aare Asejere described children as the cornerstone of the nation’s future, emphasizing the need to nurture them through quality education and practical skill acquisition.

He commended the resilience and brilliance of Nigerian children despite the many challenges they face, reiterating his unwavering commitment to advocating policies that safeguard their welfare, education, and all-round development.

“Today, we celebrate the hope and promise that lies in every Nigerian child. It is not enough to wish them well; we must act. I urge all parents, guardians, and stakeholders to invest meaningfully in both the academic and vocational growth of our children,” he said.

“While formal education is critical, empowering children with vocational skills provides them with tools for self-reliance, creativity, and productivity in an ever-evolving world,” he added.

Aare Asejere also applauded teachers and caregivers who play vital roles in shaping the minds of future leaders, calling for collective responsibility in securing an enabling environment for children to thrive.

He concluded by reaffirming his dedication to championing rural and community-based educational initiatives as part of his broader vision for sustainable development in Osun State.
