UNPRECEDENTED SUCCESS AT ILA PDP LG ELECTION RALLY

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign train continues to gather momentum across the nooks and crannies of Ila Local Government, with each step marking a significant triumph.

The latest leg of the campaign on Sunday January 26 saw the PDP train rolled into Iperin Eyindi ward 7, Ila LGA, where it met overwhelming enthusiasts and supporters who mobilized the eager electorates and party loyalists.

The Hon. Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo extended his regards to the leaders, praising them for their contributions to the party’s growth and development.

Addressing the crowd, Rev. Jenyo urged the residents of ward 7 and Ila Local Government generally to turn out en-masse to vote on Saturday, 22nd of February 2025 and secure all the polling units across the communities for the PDP candidates; (both chairmanship and Councillorship) emphasizing the importance of the community support.

Notably, key leaders have been instrumental in receiving the party faithfuls and well wishers of the PDP candidates across the wards.

Rev. Bunmi Jenyo also emphasized the importance of voters’ turnout, urging residents to come out in large numbers on Saturday 22nd of february. “This election is an opportunity for the community to choose leaders who are not just by titles on a ballot but are known entities committed to local development. PDP has positioned these candidates as embodiments of the communities’ hopes for better governance”, Rev. Jenyo said.

He therefore called for a unified front of all PDP members to secure all polling units for the PDP candidates.

In solidarity and support of the party, during the rally, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo donated a huge sum to each of all the Councillorship candidates and the Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Nasiru Jayeola.
