Osun Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi Meets Senator Fadahunsi to Discuss Key Issues.

Abuja, 30 January, 2025.

Osun State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, recently visited Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi.

This meeting took place shortly after a gathering of Osun State senators with Fadahunsi in his office. During the closed-door session, they discussed significant issues impacting constituents in Osun East, including: restoration of electricity in Ifetedo and Garage Olode, development of road networks across the Senatorial district and timely distribution of farm inputs to farmers ahead of the 2025 rainy season.

This visit underscores the commitment of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration to address urgent needs and promote sustainable development in Osun State.

It will be recalled that Senator Fadahunsi was in the process of restoring the Garage Olode moribund electricity of over 12 years during the tenure of Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola between 2018 and 2022 before the APC government in Osun State hijacked the project and eventually left it unattended to till they left Osun government.

It is also on record then that Prince Kola Adewusi was among the PDP stakeholders who were monitoring the restoration of electricity in the 10 local government areas of Osun East during the tenure of APC under Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola which was disrupted by the administration.

The decision of Prince Kola Adewusi to be actively involved in the restoration of electricity to the local government areas of Osun East is no doubt an effort geared towards ensuring that his electoral promises to the people of Ife-Ijesa Senatorial District are fulfilled in tandem to the promises of the National Assembly members Constituency projects from that zone.
