Olorunda PDP Energizes Campaign with Ward 08 Rally....Asejere Calls for Overwhelming Support for Council Candidates

---Olorunda PDP Chairmanship Candidate Promises Inclusive and Progressive Governance

In a spirited demonstration of commitment to party ideals and dedication to the communities, the Olorunda PDP Council Campaign Committee, led by Alhaji Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, and under the party chairmanship of Hon Ademola Nurudeen Otitokoro, took its powerful campaign to Ward 08—one of the largest wards in Osun State. 

The campaign trail strategically engaged with key community figures, including the RTEAN Ota Efun branch, as well as the Baales of Dagbolu and Ota-Efun, culminating in a rally at Testing Ground Junction. Each stop was met with enthusiastic support from residents, who welcomed the PDP’s vision and praised the accomplishments of the current administration led by Governor Ademola Adeleke. The Baales of Dagbolu and Ota-efun, who commended the giant strides of the governor while receiving the Olorunda campaign movement at their palace, were Baale Sulaiman Solagbade Oyebode and Sheu Tijani Olatunde respectively.

Alhaji Sikiru Mustapha, the PDP Director of Administration in Osun State, emceed the event, introducing party leaders and dignitaries in attendance. Addressing the large crowd gathered at each location, Asejere praised Governor Adeleke’s achievements over the past two years, highlighting the contrast with the previous APC administration’s twelve years of lackluster governance. Reflecting on his record of service, Asejere proudly mentioned his prestigious award received in London, where twenty beneficiaries were invited to accompany him.

Asejere urged residents to support all PDP council candidates in the upcoming local elections. To motivate a high turnout, he announced a friendly competition between wards based on some indices and inaugurated a committee to oversee this initiative.

Hon. Obafemi Kolade, the PDP's chairmanship candidate, also addressed the crowd, outlining his development agenda designed to strengthen Governor Adeleke’s grassroots impact.

Sheikh Kazeem Adabanija, an esteemed Islamic cleric, offered prayers for the chairmanship candidate and the PDP team, adding a spiritual dimension to the event.

On a conclusive note, the Chairmanship Candidate and Ward 08 Councilorship Candidate, Eng Wole Adeniyi gave their vote of thanks to round off the campaign rally for the day. 

Other prominent figures in attendance included Hon. Kunle Olaniyan, Hon. Hamzat Ademola Nurudeen, Hon. Nathaniel Ojetola, Hon. Rafiu Fashola, all local party executives, ward chairmen, councilorship candidates, political appointees, and many others, reflecting the party's unity and strength.
