Oba-Oke Declares Unalloyed Support for all the Olorunda PDP Council Candidates as Asejere leads Campaign Train
As the ruling party in the state kick-started their ward- to-ward campaign towards the forthcoming Local Government elections.

The great people of Oba-Oke trooped out en masse to joyfully welcome the campaign team of Olorunda chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, led by astute politicians, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Olaoluwa Asejere, Hon. Kunle Ojetola, Hon. Olaide Ajibola, Alhaji Fasola Rauf, Hon. Hamzat Nurudeen Ademola and Alhaji AbdulRasaq Adetunji, who played host at the venue today.

Hon. Nathaniel Ojetola in his opening remarks thanked the monarch of the town for his love and support for the current administration, assuring the entirety of Oba-Oke and environs the desire of the governor to spread the dividend of democracy, pleading the people to cast their votes massively for all the party candidates in the forthcoming election therefore, the good works started by the Governor will resonate across the length and breadth of the land, describing the ones executed in less than two years in office as a tip of the iceberg. 

According to the team leader, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Olaoluwa Asejere, at the palace of the Oloba of Oba-Oke, acknowledged the warm gestures extended to the team by the monarch, lauding him for the solid support he has been giving to the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, saying, "Baba has remained an advocate of peace and he exemplifies the epitome of a good leader."

He added that, "the only development in the land was the ones they did during the PDP-led administration almost about a decade ago." 

"The past administration did nothing but caused more harm to the land. PDP is the only party that prioritizes people's well-being, as none of the candidates of the party will derail from the good path the party is known for." 

Hon. Obafemi Kolade, Olorunda Chairmanship Candidate said, his name is Omowale therefore, the interest of Oba-Oke, Oba-Ile and Ilie will never be toiled with; thanking the Kabiyesi for not forgetting the good deeds of his parents when they were alive, promising to make the three towns a food basket not only for Olorunda but Osun at large, and assuring them to run a transparent and all-inclusive governance. 

While the monarch testified to the good governance enjoyed during the past administration under the former Governor Oyinlola, he also thanked Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Olaoluwa for his leadership prowess when he was the chairman of Olorunda local government, praying wholeheartedly for the victory of the party; adding that their victory will be celebrated with his special day as it falls on his birthday.
