Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye mourns the passing away of Alhaja Medinatu Salami, the Mother of Osun State Commissioner for Special Duties

Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye mourns the passing away of Alhaja Medinatu Salami, the Mother of Osun State Commissioner for Special Duties


The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Governor of Osun State Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye has commiserated with the family  members of Salami, Babanla Pegba Compound, Ede Osun State over the death of their Matriarch, Alhaja Medinatu Salami at the age of 94.

Alhaji Akinleye, in a statement issued this morning from far away of Saudi Arabia and made available to the media described Late Alhaja Medinatu Salami, the  Mother of Dr. B.T Salam, Commissioner for Regional  Integration and Special Duties as a peace loving mother whose simplicity in her when she was on planet earth can not be measured. 

Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye further described Late Alhaja Medinatu Salami as Lover of everybody and someone who used everything within her to promote Islam while on earth.

In Alhaji Akinleye's words; "Alhaja Medinatu Salami lived a fulfilled life, she will be remembered for many good things. I commiserate with entire members of Salami Family of Babanla Pegba Compound Ede. 

My condolences specifically go to my senior brother cum confidant in person of Dr. B.T Salami at this particular time. May Almighty Allah accept the return of Alhaja and rest her soul".

Alhaja Medinatu Salami answered the call of her creator in the early hour of today and she has been buried this evening according to Islamic rites at Reservoir, Agip Area, Ede by 4pm.
