Osunlana Congratulates Sanya Omirin on his Investiture as a NASS member.

Hon. Osunlana Olayemi Olumide, a prominent PDP Chieftain from Osun East Senatorial District has congratulated the newly inaugurated member of the National House of Representatives from Ijesa South Federal, Hon. Sanya Omirin on Tuesday June 13, 2023.

According to Hon. Olumide Osunlana, "Hon. Emmanuel Olusànyà Omirin is an epitome of humility, dedication and sincerity to his people and his political party."


Osunlana said "the choice of Hon. Sanya Omirin as the representative of his people is as a result of the popularity of the ace politician who rose from the ranks of politics to the top without soiling his hands at any level."


Osunlana added "it is difficult, extremely very difficult for someone to hold positions one or two times without falling into temptations of offending the people and losing grip of his political territory but Hon. Omirin has demonstrated to his political and people over the years that he would not be ungrateful to them even if given the opportunity to serve his country as President of his country."

In the light of the unbeaten pedigree and antecedents of Hon. Sanya Omirin and his penchant for diligent service to humanity, Hon. Osunlana advised the new leader in the house not to stop his usual records of demonstration of love for the people of his federal constituency the same way he has been doing when he was not in office in the last 12 years.


Osunlana then prayed to God to give Hon. Omirin the wisdom to perform well in his new calling.

Finally Hon. Osunlana appreciated the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for his demonstration of love for Hon. Omirin and his Ijesa people by giving Hon. Omirin the needed backing as his party's candidate during the turbulent period of the election marred with violence and wanton killings by the opposition party, APC in Ijesaland."

He also extended his appreciation to all leaders and stakeholders of Ijesa South Federal Constituency for being appreciative of the magnanimity of Hon. Omirin towards them by giving him their maximum support and trust during the electioneering period.
