Funmiso Babarinde, Oyinlola's Former Aide Declared Intention for Osun State PDP Chairman.


A former Executive Assistant to Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola on Students'Affairs, Hon. Babarinde Funmiso, BF has boldly come out to declare his intention to contest for the State Chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State.

Babarinde made his intention known to the press in Osogbo early this morning in a telephone chat with our correspondent and the erudite scholar said it is the turn of his local government to produce not only the state Chairman of the party but that the time is now for his people to produce a substantive State Working Committee Member of the party for the first time since 1999 that PDP came into existence in Osun State. 

According to Babarinde, "Ife North Local Government people have paid their dues in terms of multiple victories in recent times" and according to him "PDP has a tradition of honouring a winning team with worthy positions either at the party or government levels.

Babarinde, however, told our correspondent to be on the lookout for more details on his Chairmanship aspiration in the coming weeks.
