RE: KILLING OF EBENEZER ALARO, HON. SANYA OMIRIN WAS NEVER INVOLVED AS BEING RUMOURED BY APC SENATORIAL CANDIDATE, AJIBOLA FAMUREWA, AND HON.TIMOTHY  OWOEYE

The attention of the Hon. Sanya Omirin Media Team has been drawn to a fake report maliciously circulating on social media alleging that  our Principal, Hon. Sanya Omirin was sighted at Irojo junction in Ilesa in the midst of masked men in Police uniform who went on rampage alongside some thugs which later led to the killing of one Ebenezer Alaro." 

The Omirin media crew hereby feel we need to set the record straight and make it known to all and sundry that the allegation is another wicked design of the opposition party, the APC that has recently been enmeshed in series of violence in Ijesa axis of Osun State because of the rejection their various candidates are facing from the electorates in Osun state.

We want to state categorically that on Friday the 17th of February, 2023

 we had already reported that some APC's hoodlums who were led by one Adejumo Ismaila a.k.a. "Asunmo," a well known notorious APC thug was used to cause chaos and disturbed the peace of Ijesa South Federal Constituency.

It was also reported that the recent disturbances led by Asunmo were sponsored and funded by Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, the APC Senatorial Candidate  in Osun East Senatorial District and Hon.Timothy Owoeye, The Speaker of Osun state House of assembly.

The hoodlums were alleged to have attacked the Late Pa Lawrence Omirin's house around 1.00 am and destroyed the billboards of Hon. Sanya Omirin which was erected in front of his late Father's house. 

The APC hoodlums who are being sponsored by the Speaker of Osun state House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye and Hon. Jibola Famurewa entered the private residence and vandalized several properties including Sanya Omirin's billboard at Irojo Roundabout in Ilesa, Omirin was later  informed about the development on phone around 7.00 am and he had to rush down to Bolorunduro to confirm the incident and the extent of damage in the house, after which he went to Irojo junction where he also confirmed that his billboard that was erected at the junction had also been removed and destroyed, he thereafter left the scene and went to report the case at the Ijamo police station, in Ilesa, the records are there at the police station. 

The APC Senatorial Candidate in Osun East Senatorial District, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, it would be recalled, some weeks back was mentioned as the sponsor of a notorious APC thug Mr Afolabi Fadaunsi popularly known as "Carlos", who was arrested in Osogbo by the Nigeria Police, from  Alagbon Close,  Lagos State.

Afolabi Fadahunsi, Carlos, who was accused of unlawful possession of Fire Arms, which he later confessed to after thorough investigation by men of the Nigeria police, Carlos, it was reported, also later confessed that it was  Hon. Ajibola Famurewa that bought the ammunition for him and this was later corroborated by the police through the receipts of the purchase of the fire arms they found in his (Carlo's) house and this eventually led to the arrest and detention of Hon. Famurewa by the police. As we speak, Famurewa is said to be currently enjoying administrative bail from the police.

Famurewa was invited and detained by the police in connection with the above allegations and he is still on trial, these are verifiable statements of facts and not rumours.

We hereby wish to use this medium to call on the good people of Ijesa South to hold Hon. Ajibola Famurewa and Hon. Timothy Owoeye responsible for several violence attacks on innocent citizens, killings and thuggery that are currently rocking Ijesa South Federal Constituency.

We also implore the Nigerian Police Force to discountenance this wild allegations against the innocent Hon. Sanya Omirin and make sure that the killers of Ebenezer are brought to book and made to face the wrath of the law, the matter should not be allowed to be politicized because we are talking of a whole human life who was killed in a most gruesome manner.

Our Principal, Hon. Sanya Omirin is a man of peace who is known for preaching peace at all times and never has anything to do with the false allegation, 

Famurewa and Timothy Owoeye have been involved, identified and named by some  suspects and should be made to answer for their  actions according to the dictates of the constitution instead of treating them  with kid's gloves.
