*OMIRIN VISITS ALAMUYE OF AMUYE FAFORIJI, OBA (DR) RICHARD ADEBAYO FAFORIJI, ON HIS INSTALLATION, AS HE PRAYED FOR THE SUCCESS OF HON. OMIRIN IN THE NEXT YEAR'S ELECTION*

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the next year general election into ijesha South Federal Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Sanya Omirin yesterday stormed the ancient city of AMUYE FAFORIJI in Atakunmosa East Local government area of Osun State to congratulate the newly installed Kabiesi of the town who was also former Chairman of Atakunmosa East Local Government, under whom Hon. Sanya Omirin served as Secretary to the same Local Government.
Hon. Omirin who described the installation of the new monarch as a long awaited event that ought to have happened more than a decade ago but due to the hatred of the past administrations under APC in Osun State towards Oba Adebayo Faforiji's political affiliation. 

They denied him his right because of his political ideology and what he believes in as their reasons for not allowing him take over the throne of his forefathers.
Omirin who arrived the palace around 2:15pm with his entourages was received into the palace by the Monarch, Oba Dr. Richard Adebayo Faforiji and his Chiefs, sons and daughters of the ancient community.

It would be recalled that the stool of ALAMUYE of AMUYE became vacant since June 2010 and was he was crowned as Alamuye before the change of government through the election petition tribunal on November 27, 2010 by Action Congress, AC with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as Governor.
Not until another transition from the All Progressives Congress (an offshoot of AC, ACN) to PDP on November 27, 2022 with Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke that the hanging nomination and final approval of Oba Dr. Bayo Faforiji by the State government under Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke became a reality last week after the king makers haf done the necessary things according to the tradition of the community.
Speaking in his Palace, Oba Dr. Richard Adebayo Faforiji thanked Hon. Sanya Omirin and his entire team for their supports during the trying time, he said the role of Hon. Omirin towards the success of this journey cannot be quantified, he then prayed for the success of Hon. Omirin at the polls on February 25th, 2023.

While on his way to the Faforiji palace Hon. Omirin took a brief moment to discuss with the Oba Elect of Ajido and other prominent traditional rulers who were present at the occasion.

On the entourage of Hon. Sanya Omirin to Alamuye Faforiji are the following dignitaries; Hon. Tunde Ajewole; Hon. Adewumi Akiika; Hon.Suji Ayeni; Hon.Ajayi Alaba Emmanuel; Hon. Alaba Ademisoye; Apostle Seramo; Pastor Ayeni, among others.
