Akin Adeyi Condemns Physical Attack on Oyinlola by supporters of a PDP governorship Aspirant.

Mr Akin Adeyi, a security expert, politician and political analyst has criticised and condemned in strong terms the physical attack and harassment carried out by some hoodlums and supporters of a certain governoship aspirant in Osun PDP against a former governor of the state, His Excellency Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola at LAIM Hotel in Osogbo on Wednesday this week. 

The statement said reasonable party members, Osun and Nigeria public are yet to find acceptable answers to why a whole former governor popularly known as "The Prince of Peace who  also doubles as a Chieftain, BoT member and leader of the same party will suffer that level of undeserved calamitous humiliation in the hands of supporters of a certain aspirant. 

Whereas and up till moment the party, also the aspirant's camp  at some seventy two hours ago after is yet to find  their voices either to tender their unreserved apology, mobilise investigative activities in order to take any disciplinary action against the perpetrators who are obviously known party members".

Mr. Adeyi opined that the action was condemnable.  It goes to suggest a lot in the principles of silence means consent, the security expert said.

"There is no doubt this incident has not portrayed the party, the handlers and supporters of this particular aspirant as the good people that the state desires so much at this time for their trust with the state affairs"

Adeyi used the opportunity to advise  supporters of this particular aspirant to work on their temperament. 

"They also have to reduce their desperation. The Almighty God is the one that can enthrone and dethrone. No man can do it if it is not pleasing to His eyes".

In addition, Adeyi counsels the same aspirant's supporters on the need for them to be wary of their activities particularly in every month of February.  He recalled that it was in this same month of February (2018) that a Prophet of God was beaten blue black at the party secretariat by this same set of hoodlums and supporters of this same aspirant. 

Also, it was in the month of February year 2020 that the trio of Adagunodo, Diran Odeyemi and myself ( Akin Adeyi) and some others suffered physical assault in the hands of same bad followers of this same aspirant. "This isn't a good history to tell whether for the aspirant, his group and or his party".

Finally, Adeyi called on security agencies to wade into this matter by deploying a comprehensive investigation activities and with a view to fishing out the perpetrators also their sponsors for necessary punishment in order to serve as deterrent to others who may be in the habit of formenting trouble by attacking respected personalities.
